Welcome to the first official post from Nightingale Press & Publishing. We have a few announcements—including open submissions—so buckle in.

Our Brand Ambassadors

We started Nightingale to support writers we actually believe in. Today, we signed the first few. These authors represent the integrity and craft that keep us inspired.

We aren't interested in forced promotion, so we left the "mandatory advertising" clauses out of their agreements. Our goal is to make the publishing experience so good that they want to talk about it. Until then, we’re just focused on the books. We’re proud to announce our inaugural Brand Ambassadors:

Lila

Spencer D.W.

Edward.Marlo.Ruiz

Asteria Geisterblum

Each ambassador has been commissioned to contribute an original piece to Nightingale Press’s inaugural anthology. More details on this anthology—including theme and timeline—are coming soon.

No Good Deed — Flash Fiction & Poetry Contest

Now for our Wrizzit main event.

No Good Deed is a grimdark flash fiction and poetry contest hosted exclusively on Wrizzit. We want stories and poems about the cost of good intentions. This is our very first event and every dollar raised funds Nightingale Press’s inaugural anthology—including paying our future contributors at professional rates.
